What Gabriel said to Mary and Joseph about Jesus*
Lk 1: 31 "...conceive in your womb...a son...call His name Jesus"
Mt 1:21 "...you are to name Him Jesus"
* "Jesus" is a translation of the Greek "Ιησούς" transliterated as "Iesous". In the New Testament Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 are the only two verses where "Ιησούς / Iesous" is translated as Joshua, the son of Nun. Jesus and Joshua are translations of Yahawashai (יהושע : yhwsh‘) in the ancient Hebrew dialect with the a(ah) vowel sound. Yahawashai is translated as "Ιησούς" in the Greek Septuagint, the "scriptures" of the first century Jews and Christians (Jewish Christians and non-Jewish Christians).
Luke 1:26-38; 2:21–24 (HCSB)
1:26 In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,
1:27 to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary.
1:28 And the angel came to her and said, "Rejoice, favored woman. The Lord is with you."
1:29 But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be.
1:30 Then the angel told her: "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
1:31 Now listen: You will conceive[*] and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus.
* In v. 31 the literal Greek is "conceive in womb" and it refers to the union of sperm and egg in the uterine (fallopian) tube, not in the ovary where the oocytes (eggs) are formed and also not in the uterus.
1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High[*], and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
* In vs. 26, 31, 32, "God" – "Most High" – "Lord God" – can only be a reference to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob whose ancient Hebrew name is Yahawah (יהוה : yhwh). In v. 31 “Jesus” is the name of his Son, whose Jewish name is Iesous (Ιησούς,) which is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Yahawashai (יהושע : yhwsh‘).
The union ("conceive...womb") occurs when the single living sperm is "in" the egg and refers to the single (only one) living seed/sperm being placed inside of the single living egg by the "power" of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit did not place the living seed/sperm inside of the egg while it was being formed in the ovary, and not inside of the space of the uterine (fallopian) tube and then have the seed/sperm travel with whipping tail toward the egg as happens with natural conception.
After ovulation, after the egg has exited the ovary, and before the living egg has reached the large space of the uterus, the seed/sperm fertilizes the egg at the usual uterine (fallopian) tube fertilization site, which is the longest part of the tube that is closest to the ovary and away from the opening of the tube into the uterus.
Both the uterine (fallopian) tube where fertilization ("conceive") took place when the sperm was placed by the Holy Spirit "inside" of the egg and the uterus to where the fertilized egg is traveling, are the "womb" to which "conceive in womb" is referring.
After conception, the fertilized egg squeezes through the narrowest part of the uterine (fallopian) tube and enters the uterus where the lining of the uterus thickens to receive the implanting of the fertilized egg. After the fertilized living egg implants itself into the thickening lining of the uterus the placenta starts developing and the egg starts to develop the umbilical cord, the conduit to receive oxygen, blood, and nourishment and to remove waste.
The point of this short look at what "conceive in womb" means is simple to understand.
It is easy to understand the obvious difference between Yahawah ("yhwh"), his ancient Hebrew name, the ONLY God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel and Yahawah's "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" Yahawashai, and Allah, said to be, by subjective assertion, the Muslim god of Abraham, Ishmael, and Muhammad. The Muslim "subjective assertion" is that Moses was the first Muslim (which means submitter or surrender) because he submitted to God (he "submitted" so that makes him a "Muslim") and presented Islam (which means submission or surrender) to his son Isaac and so on to Jacob/Israel and etc. all the way to Yahawashai (Jesus). However, even though Yahawashai (Jesus) is a Muslim (a submitter) who has submitted to Islam (submission) Yahawashai is NOT the "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" of Yahawah because Yahawah ("yhwh") is NOT the ONLY Creator God. Why? Well, because Allah is the ONLY Creator God. That is the Muslim "subjective assertion" that proves Islam is true.
Here is the ultimate reality about the difference between the ONLY Creator God and a false god: the Creator God who can create everything by fiat (from nothing) and a false god who cannot create anything, huge or tiny.
The same Creator God who created by fiat (from nothing) the huge amount of "dust" of the entire earth (Genesis 1 – the spirit of God) certainly can create by the same spirit by fiat (from nothing) the tiny speck of "dust" of the seed/sperm and (conceive, fertilize) unite it with the tiny speck of "dust" of the egg to produce his "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" and the first born male of Mary.
The Muslims are being truthful when they say that their god Allah, the god of Abraham and Hagar, Ishmael, and Muhammad cannot have children, and the Christians are being truthful when they say that their God Yahawah ("yhwh"), the God of the Jews, the God of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac, Jacob/Israel can have children if he wants to, and that Yahawashai (Jesus) is the "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" of Yahawah. That means that he is Yahawashai ben (Son of) Yahawah by "birth" alone and believers in Yahawashai as the "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" are children of Yahawah by "faith" alone in his Son's "birth" alone.
Believing that Yahawashai (Jesus) is the Son of Yahawah means, well, that is what being born again means. Believing is the new birth. Salvation is that simple and that difficult. (John 3:3, 5, 6, 14-17)
1:33 He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom [his reign – not his realm or his territory] will have no end."
1:34 Mary asked the angel, "How can this be since I have not been intimate with [Gk since I do not know] a man?"
1:35 The angel replied to her: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you," and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
1:36 And consider your relative Elizabeth – even she has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called childless.
1:37 "For nothing will be impossible with God."
1:38 "I am the Lord's slave [Lit Greek doulos – slave, not servant]," said Mary. "May it be done to me according to your word." Then the angel left her.
2:21 When the eight days were completed for His circumcision, He was named Jesus [ Heb Yahawashai : Gk Iesous : Eng Joshua and Jesus] – the name given by the angel before He was conceived.
2:22 And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were finished, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord[*].
* In v. 22, "Lord" is only a reference to Yahawah (יהוה : yhwh).
2:23 (just as it is written[*] in the law of the Lord : Every firstborn male will be dedicated to the Lord.
2:24 and to offer a sacrifice (according to what is stated in the law of the Lord: a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons).
* In v. 23 "written" is found in Exodus 13:1, 2, 12:
1 The LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] spoke to Moses:
2 "Consecrate every firstborn male [Lit Gk "firstborn male" = "male that opens a womb"] to Me, the firstborn from every womb among the Israelites, both man and domestic animal; it is Mine."
12 you are to present to the LORD [יהוה : yhwh: Yahawah] every firstborn male of the womb. All firstborn offspring of the livestock you own that are males will be the LORD's [יהוה : yhwh: Yahawah].
Jesus was not only the first male child born to still young, still virgin, still unmarried Mary because Mary did "not know a man" yet when she was talking with Gabriel, which means that Yahawashai (Jesus) was the first child born to Mary.
Matthew 1:18-25 (HCSB)
18 The birth of Jesus Christ came about this way: After His mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, it was discovered before they came together that she was pregnant* by the Holy Spirit.
19 So her husband Joseph, being a righteous man, and not wanting to disgrace her publicly, decided to divorce her secretly.
* In v. 18 "pregnant" Lit Gk is "found in womb" – see the previous Lk. 1:31 "conceive in womb" note.
20 But after he had considered these things, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived[*] in her is by the Holy Spirit[**].
* In v. 20 "conceived" is "generated", "fertilized", the "union" of seed-egg (sperm-ovum) in the "womb" – in the uterine (fallopian) tube.
** In v. 20 "By the Holy Spirit" is by fiat, "from nothing" that existed before it appeared inside the egg.
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus[*], because he will save His people from their sins."
* In v. 21 HCSB note: Jesus is the Gk form of the Hb name "Joshua," which = "The LORD saves" or "Yahweh saves."
Jesus and Joshua are both the English translations of the Greek Iesous (Ιησούς,) and, with only consonants, the ancient Hebrew is יהושע, transliterated yhwsh‘. With the a(ah) vowel sound added to the consonants, yhwsh‘ is spelled yahawashai, pronounced Yahawashai in the ancient Hebrew dialect before the third century BCE matres lectionis (consonants used as vowels) and the 10 century CE masoretic nikkud (vowel points and marks) were added to the consonants, and, with the e, i, o, u vowels added, produced a different dialect.
22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
23 See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name Him Immanuel, which is translated "God is with us."[*] (Isa. 7:14)
24 When Joseph got up from sleeping, he did as the Lord's angel had commanded him. He married her
25 but did not know her intimately until she gave birth to a son**. And he named Him Jesus.
* In v. 23 The "virgin" implied that Mary is "still" "virgin; "pregnant" is lit. Gk "conceive in womb"; "birth" is lit. Gk "bare" a son; "name" means "title" of identification, not the v. 25 name "Gk Iesous / Eng Jesus" – He Is Savior; "Immanuel" is from Gk Emmanuel – God with us.
** The words "give birth to a son" in the Greek is "bore her son, the first born".
Gabriel vs. Jibril (Gabriel)
First, the angel Jibril (Gabriel) of Islam who "spoke" to Muhammad the exact words of Allah recorded in the Qur'an about the "people of the book" (Jews and Christians), which calls atheists, Jews and Christians the enemies of Allah if they will not "submit" and convert to Islam is definitely NOT the same angel Gabriel of Christianity who "spoke" to the Jewish Mary and told her that she would "...conceive in womb" a holy child by the movement of the Holy Spirit and the child would be called the (Jewish) "Son of God" (v. 35).
Second, the messenger named Gabriel who was sent by Yahawah to speak with Mary and told her good things about her Jewish son Yahawashai is NOT the same Jibril (Gabriel) who "spoke" to Muhammad who in turn told his followers bad things about Jews and Christians as recorded in the Qur'an and the hadith.
Third, the angel Gabriel who told Mary before she conceived "in womb" that her Jewish son would be called the Son of God is NOT the same angel Jibril (Gabriel) who "spoke" with Muhammad who in turn told his followers that all who would not submit to Allah (Jews, Christians, theists, atheists) could be killed as recorded in the Qur'an and hadith.
Fourth, the angel Gabriel who told Mary before she conceived "in womb" that her Jewish son would be called Iesous (Greek) Joshua/Jesus (English) is NOT the same angel Jibril (Gabriel) who "spoke" with Muhammad who in turn persuaded his followers that he, Muhammad, was the prophet of a new religion which his followers over time extrapolated to mean that Yahawashai (Jesus) would be subordinate to Muhammad and ultimately to Allah.
Yeah, right. The one who rose from the grave is subordinate to the one who is still in the grave.
UNION: Seed – Egg / Dust – Dust
The angel Gabriel said to Mary:
"Now listen, you will conceive (Lit Gk "conceive in womb") ... a son" (Lk 1:31).
Just as the "dust" of the huge ball of dirt called earth came into existence by the Holy Spirit, by fiat (from nothing) (Genesis 1), so also did the tiny, single, speck of "dust" of the living "seed" that came into existence inside of the womb of Mary (Luke 1:31) while the "egg" was still in a fallopian tube. The living "seed" came into existence by fiat (from nothing) – by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35) – from the "Father" of the "Seed" by fiat (from nothing) – from the "Generator" of the "Seed" by fiat (from nothing) – from the "Creator" of the "Seed" by fiat (from nothing).
The single, ONLY one, already living "seed/sperm", the single, ONLY one, speck of "dust", the single, ONLY one, already living "seed/sperm" that was generated by fiat (from nothing) by the Holy Spirit, united in the "womb" of still young, still virgin, still unmarried Mary with her existing living"egg".
The instant that Mary told Gabriel that she agreed (Luke 1:38) to let the Holy Spirit "overshadow" her she conceived by fiat (from nothing) in her womb when the "union" happened. The "union" of the physical speck of already living "dust" of her already living "egg" and the physical speck of the living "dust" of the already living "seed/sperm". This was the ONLY "seed/sperm" produced by the ONLY "Father" by fiat (from nothing) – the ONLY "Generator" by fiat (from nothing) – the ONLY "Creator" by fiat (from nothing) of absolutely everything physical and visible (brain – neurons/cells – axons/dendrites – synapse gaps – chemicals) and also everything not physical (mind – thought – memory – memory of thoughts – memory of being).
"Memory of being" is a reference to reproduction, to every living thing reproducing "after its kind" without missing links. The single "seed/sperm" implanted inside of the "egg/ovum" that had already exited the ovary and was still in the fallopian tube, whichis what "in womb" means. "In womb" of still young, still virgin, still unmarried Mary, that single "seed/sperm" had the "memory" of being ONLY a human being without prior association with extinct species and definitely without missing links to a different "kind" of primate – first from the the spineless animals called chordates, to fishes the first vertebrates, to amphibians, to reptiles, to birds, to mammals, to placental mammals, to preprimates, to primates ("the earliest primates split from the preprimates at 70 Myr ago"), and last, ape to human ("Siamangs, great apes on the same line as humans, split from the line ancestral to humans around 12-16 Myr ago" *).

Evolutionary scientists believe that climate change was a factor in human evolution and have guesses published 30 years apart (1987 to 2016) about how many millions of years ago apes and humans split. Was it only 7 million years ago when humans "split from African apes" *. Was it 12-16 million years ago when "siamangs, great apes on the same line as humans, split from the line ancestral to humans" and 5-10 million years ago when orangutans, chimpanzees, and gorillas split from humans**?

Evolution of Humans (Genetics, p. 878-9, emphases are in the original)
"The first spinal animals (chordates) appeared around 550 million years (Myr) ago; they had no bones. Bones developed in the first vertebrates 510 Myr ago. For a long time the only vertebrates were fishes; from these the early amphibians arose, then the reptiles, and from these the birds (150 Myr) and the early mammals (216 Myr ago); placental mammals appeared 115 Myr ago. Between 100 and 85 Myr ago, major orders of mammals became distinguishable (herbivores, preprimates, carnivores, rodents, and lagomorphs), but modern forms arose later (after or around the big Cretaceous catastrophe of 67 Myr ago). For instance, the earliest primates split from the preprimates at 70 Myr ago, and the fission of Old World apes and New World monkeys was at 35 Myr ago. Siamangs, great apes on the same line as humans, split from the line ancestral to humans around 12-16 Myr ago, and orangutans, chimpanzees, and gorillas 5-10 Myr ago. Some of these times are from fossils and some from molecular information, and all are subject to change with improvement in our knowledge, although recently convergence in some of the conclusions arising from different sources increases our confidence somewhat."
"The name of the genus Homo is usually assigned to fossil remains from around 2-3 Myr ago. Upright walking and manufacture of and dependence on tools are the two distinctive features of humans. Homo habilis is the name given to the earliest remains, found in Africa. Homo erectus follows habilis; it is also very early and is found in Africa, Asia, and Europe. The size of the brains at the beginning was one-third to one-half that of modern humans; modern brain size was reached some 200,000-300-000 years ago (Homo sapiens). Bones that correspond to those of modern humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) appeared first in western Asia some 40,000-60-000 years ago, and perhaps somewhat earlier (100,000 years ago) in Africa. In the period beginning about 40,000 years ago from western Asia to Europe, where it replaced another variety of modern human, Neanderthal, and probably later (12,000-15,000 years ago) from northeast Asia to North and South America."
Origin of Human Races (Genetics, p. 880, emphases are in the original)
"The separation between races of humans must have occurred in the last period of human evolution, with the migration to other continents from Africa or Asia. Most of the differences between human races are likely to have occurred with the isolation that followed the separation. The detailed reconstruction of human evolution is still controversial. Different groups of genes or characters suggest somewhat different stories. Consensus has been reached on the fact that the three major continents of the Old World—Africa, Asia (eastern part), and Europe (whose inhabitants show important similarities with west Asians)—are inhabited by three major racial groups. ... The greatest uncertainty is associated with the first split; we do not know whether the Africans split first from the Europeans and Asians or the Europeans and Africans split first from the Asians. Fossil evidence (still fairly uncertain) and genetic variation from protein data favor the second alternative. ...."
Origin of Species (Genetics, p. 885-6, emphases are in the original)
"The concept of species is elusive in organisms that reproduce mostly or only asexually, such as bacteria, but it is much more clear-cut and important in those with obligatory sexual reproduction, like most animals and, in part, other eukaryotes. For them, the classification into distinct species rests on a solid criterion. Different species are (theoretically) separated by breeding barriers; but within a species there is potentially no limitation to interfecundity of two random individuals, and their progeny are expected to have unlimited fertility. The criterion can be applied in practice only to the limited number of species that can be bred experimentally (and never to extinct species). Fortunately, distinct species—unless they are of very recent origin, or are caught during the speciation process, when this is not abrupt—are usually sufficiently different morphologically that the trained taxonomist has a good chance of recognizing them as such. Thus the morphology alone can, in most cases, supply sufficient information for classifying two organisms as distinct species."
"The barriers to viable interspecific crosses may be of two types. In one category are mechanisms that inhibit mating (e.g., sexual maturation in different seasons; incompatibility of sexual organs, making the passage of sperm impossible; isolation due to behavioral incompatibility). The other category included barriers that are effective after mating. These become apparent at the gametic stage or after the formation of an F1 hybrid, which may be produced and die, or survive and be sterile. There can be many degrees or intermediate steps of incomplete interfertility. There are examples of Drosophilia species, for instance, which produce regular hybrids, but the hybrid males are sterile."
The physical "union" of the single, ONLY one already living "sperm" cell united with the single, ONLY one already living "egg" cell while the "egg" was still in a fallopian tube. The single and ONLY "Seed" was generated by fiat (from nothing) by the Holy Spirit, whom Gabriel said would come to Mary and by fiat (from nothing) the "power of the Most High" would "overshadow" her and she would conceive in womb (Lk1:32, 35).
This "union" of living "seed" and living "egg" was the original genesis of the visible, physical "blood" that would result in the indissoluble "atonement by blood" on the "mercy seat" of the cross, the "most holy place" of atonement where the blood of the lamb "slain from the foundation of the world" was "sprinkled" on the ONLY "day of atonement" by the ONLY anointed "High Priest", Yahawashai (Jesus) himself, our perpetual Great High Priest by virtue of his unending life by resurrection to life "after-from" death. In other words, Yahawashai (Jesus) experienced a resurrection to life "from" death, NOT a resurrection to life "from" life "after" and continuing "during" death. Yahawashai (Jesus) experienced a resurrection to life "from" a short death "after" a short life "before" death.
The visible (possible today with a microscope) physical "union" of the single and ONLY "seed" and the single and ONLY "egg" is the single, the ONLY indissoluble "union" spiritually "sealed" forever by the visible death of Yahawashai (Jesus) (death "after" life), a "sealing" spiritually "confirmed" forever by the visible "burial" of Jesus (burial "after" death), a "sealing" spiritually "revealed" forever by the visible resurrection of Jesus back to "life from death", not from life after death. Resurrection back to life is what biblical "life after death" is.
Yahawah – Allah
Yahawah, the God (el, elohim : mighty one) of the Jews, who is called the Father of his "only begotten [Seed] Son" Yahawashai as the angel Gabriel said in Luke 1:31, 32 is NOT Allah, the God of the Muslims whom the Muslims say can NOT have children. Also, the Muslims are correct that Allah can NOT have children.
Because, since ONLY one creator is needed to create all of the "dust" of earth or one speck of "dust" called a seed/sperm, so also, ONLY Yahawah is the ONLY Creator God, which means that ALL other gods (mighty ones) are NOT creators of anything. They can't create even one speck of "dust" by fiat (from nothing) let alone the entire "dust" of earth. ONLY Yahawah is the Creator God. ONLY Yahawah is the "Mighty One" who is Creator of the other gods (mighty ones).
ALL other gods can NOT create sons or anything; not the "dust" of the entire earth to form Adam, a living being, and not the "dust" of a single "seed/sperm" to unite with an already existing "egg" as the angel Gabriel revealed to Mary in verse 31.
Some of the "gods" mentioned in the Old Testament are carved, inanimate objects and some "gods" are sentient spirits/angels, only created beings who were NOT created with the ability to create a speck of "dust" by fiat (from nothing) and not able to create by reproduction – they cannot reproduce but they can recruit.
So, yes, since only one Creator is necessary to create by fiat (from nothing), it seems that Allah, whom Muslims affirm can NOT have children, he is definitely a "god" (strong one), just like all other created "gods" mentioned in the Jewish and Christian bible. The people of Israel were told to NOT worship the "gods" as equal to Yahawah, the ONLY Creator God of Abraham, Isaac Jacob/Israel Judah, Boaz, David, Solomon... all the way to Yahawashai (Jesus) (see Mt. 1:2-16) , the "ONLY begotten [Seed] Son" of Yahawah, the ONLY Creator of the "Seed/" by his Sovereign will, by fiat (from nothing).
Luke 2:32, 33
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;
33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will never end.
Yahawah will reign [his kingdom will be] over the house of Jacob forever; and there will be no end of his kingdom [kingdom = reign – not realm or territory, although "realm" is implied in "reign"].
Shema Israel – Listen Israel
Yahawah is Replaced by Adonay and Hashem
27 Thus they shall link [unite] My name [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] with the people of Israel, and I [Yahawah] will bless them.
(JPS English TANAKH - 1917)
1 Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it -
2 that thou mightest fear the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah], the God of thy fathers, hath promised unto thee - a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 HEAR, O ISRAEL: THE LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] OUR GOD, THE LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] IS ONE.
Here is the English transliteration of verse 4 with "adonai" instead of "yhwh"
she·ma yis·ra·'el a·do·nai e·lo·hei·nu a·do·nai e·chad
(’adonai / ’adonay : master)
Here is the English transliteration of verse 4 with "hashem" instead of "yhwh"
she·ma yis·ra·'el ha·shem e·lo·hei·nu ha·shem e·chad
(hashem : the name – ha = the)
Both " ’andoai" and "ha·shem" are the placeholders for God's ancient Hebrew name (יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah) which means He Exists or He Is or He Will Be (Exodus 3:15 – hwh : to be).
Here is verse 4 with "yhwh":
she·ma yis·ra·'el yhwh e·lo·hei·nu yhwh e·chad
(yhwh : He Exists – He Is – He Will Be – third person singular)
Here is the verse 4 with "Yahawah":
Translation: Hear, O Israel: Yahawah is our God, Yahawah alone [or "only Yahawah"]
Transliteration: she·ma yis·ra·'el ya·ha·wa·h e·lo·hei·nu ya·ha·wa·h e·chad
Here are two translations of verse 4:
Translation: Hear, O Israel: Yahawah is our God, Yahawah alone [or "only Yahawah"]
Translation: Listen Israel, "He Who Is" is our Mighty One, only "He Who Is"
Both "hashem" and "adonai" are used as placeholders for "yhwh - Yahawah" as a way to show respect for the name of the God of Israel. Instead of speaking the name of Yahawah, both placeholders are preferred by Orthodox Jews since the exiled Jews were allowed by King Cyrus of Persia to return from Babylon to Jerusalem, c. 530 B.C.E. The masora vowel and accent signs were added around c. 930 C.E., about 1300 years later:

one (alone, only)
5 And thou shalt love the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart;
7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates.
10 And it shall be, when the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God shall bring thee into the land which He swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee - great and goodly cities, which thou didst not build,
11 and houses full of all good things, which thou didst not fill, and cisterns hewn out, which thou the didst not hew, vineyards and olive-trees, which thou didst not plant, and thou shalt eat and be satisfied -
12 - then beware lest thou forget the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah], who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
13 Thou shalt fear the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God; and Him shalt thou serve, and by His name shalt thou swear.
14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are round about you;
15 for a jealous God, even the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God, is in the midst of thee; lest the anger of the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] thy God be kindled against thee, and He destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
16 Ye shall not try the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] your God, as ye tried Him in Massah.
17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes, which He hath commanded thee.
18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah]; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] swore unto thy fathers,
19 to thrust out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] hath spoken.
20 When thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying: 'What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] our God hath commanded you?
21 then thou shalt say unto thy son: 'We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
22 And the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his house, before our eyes.
23 And He brought us out from thence, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He swore unto our fathers.
24 And the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
25 And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before the LORD [יהוה : yhwh : Yahawah] our God, as He hath commanded us.
Since the time that Cyrus King of Persia let the Jews leave Babylon and return to Jerusalem around 538 BCE, the Exodus 3:15 name that God spoke audibly to Moses, Yahawah [יהוה : yhwh], Orthodox Jews discourage speaking in conversations or in public.
For that reason, "hashem" and "adonay" have replaced "yhwh" since the exile to Babylon. It was not until around 930 CE that the masoretic vowel points and marks were added to clarify how the consonants (for example, יהוה = y-h-w-h = yod-he-waw-he) were to be vocalized. Instead of "yhwh" being vocalized as "Yahawah" (or Yahweh as some prefer), vowel and accent signs for "hashem" and "adonay" are inserted below, above and on the side of the Hebrew consonants.
The Hebrew characters of God's name are יהוה : y-h-w-h; the English transliteration is "yhwh". The English transliteration of God's name "yhwh" is "Yahawah" and the translation, the meaning of God's name "yhwh" is "He Exists" or "He Is" or "He Will Be", from the root "hwh – to be" (ה-ו-ה : h-w-h). The English word "hashem", translated "the name" is used to translate, to give the meaning of (יהוה) instead of translating "yhwh" as "He Exists" or "He Is" or "He Will Be".
In Exodus 3:14 God's reply is " ’ahyah" : "Ahyah" (אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה :" ’ahyah ’ašer ’ahyah" ), it is not a name, it is a designation which means "I Exist" or "I AM" or "I Will Be", mentioned only one time in the Hebrew language as "I Am Who [ "who" = ’ašer (asher)] I Am".
In Exodus 3:15 God's reply is his "memorial" name "Yahawah" (יהוה : yhwh) which he expected to be remembered and spoken by parents to children generation to generation. Translated Yahawah means "He Exists" or "He Is" or "He Will Be", and it is mentioned 6,828 times in the Hebrew of the Jewish bible.
Before Abraham Came Into Being
John 8:58, 59
58 Jesus said to them, truly, Truly, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.
59 Then they took up stones that they might throw on him. But Jesus was hidden, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
5 And now Father, glorify [esteem] me with yourself along with the glory [esteem] which I had with you before the existence of the world.
In both quotes Yahawashai (Jesus) mentions his own pre-human existence. In John 8 he refers to himself as"I AM" and in John 17 he reveals that he existed "before the existence of the world".
Yahawashai (Jesus) refers to his existence with his Father "before the existence of the world" and before his incarnation as the already living "Seed" that was implanted by the Holy Spirit of Yahawah inside of the already living "egg" of Mary with her permission. The "Seed/Son" of God is also the "Son of Man" as Yahawashai (Jesus) referred to himself. In that sense the "Seed" is not only son of Mary and for that reason Son of Man, he is Yahawashai Son of Yahawah and for that reason Immanuel – God With Us.
The English transliteration of the Hebrew characters (יהוה) is "yhwh" not "LORD", all capital letters. "LORD" (and Lord, lord means "master") is used for the translation of "yhwh" instead of "He Is", which is what God's name "Yahawah" (יהוה - yhwh) means.
"El" or "Elohim" or "Elohi" or "Eloha" etc. are translated in English language bibles as "God" and in Spanish language bibles as "Dios." "El," means "Strong One" or "Mighty One", and Elohi translated means "Mighty One of " or "Strong One of " or "Strength of ". El Shaddai means Almighty Strong One or Almighty Mighty One.
Ahyah Yahawah Elohi Israel El Shaddai Israel Yahawah [u] Akbar
I Am He who Is the Strong One of Israel Strength Almighty of Israel
Yahawah [is] greater.
Ahyah : I Am : 1st person singular

Free Forever ("eis ton aiona")
8:31 Then Jesus said to the Jews believing in him, If you should stay [continue] in my word, truly you are my disciples.
8:32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will free you.
8:33 They answered him, We are seed of Abraham, and we have been in slavery to no one, never! How do you say that, You will become free?
8:34 Jesus answered them, Amen, amen, I say to you that, everyone practicing sin is a slave of the sin.
8:35 But the slave does not abide [remain] in the house into the eon; the son abides [remains] into the eon*.
* In v. 35 In "the son abides into the eon" (Gk "into the eon" : "eis ton aiona" : forever), the Greek cannot mean "never", it can have only one meaning – "son...abides...forever".
8:36 If then the son should free you, you are really free.
8:37 I know that you are Abraham's seed; but you seek to kill me, for my word does not have space [place, room] in you.
8:38 I speak what I have seen with my father; and you then, what you have seen with your father, you do.
8:39 They answered and said to him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham.
8:40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard from [alongside of] God; Abraham did not do this.
8:41 You do the works of your father. They said to him, We were not born [Gk generated] of harlotry [fornication]; we have one father, God.
8:42 Jesus said to them, if God were your father you would love me, for [because] I came out from[*] God, and I came [and here I am]. For [because] I have not come from myself [he did not sent himself], but that one sent me.
* In v. 8:42 Cf. vs. 8:42, 47, 59: In v. 59, "...Jesus...went forth out of the temple" – "out of the temple" = ek tou ierou (ek = out of or out from; tou = of the; ierou = temple). In v. 42, "I came out from God" = ek tou theou (ek = out of or out from; tou = of the; theou = God). In v. 47 Jesus tells the Jews challenging him "you are not out of God" Gk is "out of" or "out from".
8:43 Why do you not know my speech? Because you are not able to hear my word.
8:44 You are from your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a manslayer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own ["idion" = own - himself, private thoughts and ideas], because he is a liar, and the father of it.
8:45 But I, because I speak the truth [say what is true], but you do not believe me.
8:46 Who of your reproves me concerning sin? But if I speak truth [truthfully], why do you not believe me?
8:47 The one being out of[*] God hears the words [sayings] of God; because of this you do not hear, because you are not out of[*] God.
* In v. 47 Gk "out of" (or "out from"): Jesus is not referring to another person as being "out of [from] God - ek tou theou." In saying "one being out of [from] God hears..." Jesus is referring only to himself, the "Seed" of God created by fiat (from nothing) and implanted inside of the "egg" of Mary. Also, he affirms the obvious, the "seed" of Abraham in verses 33 and 37 are not the same as in v. 47: the one of a kind "Seed" who is the ONLY "...one being out of (from) God" – ek tou theou.
8:48 The the Jews answered and said to him, Do we not say well that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?
8:49 Jesus answered, I do not have a demon. but I honor my father, and you dishonor me.
8:50 But I do not seek my glory, there is one who seeks and judges.
8:51 Amen, amen I say to you, If anyone keeps my word, he will not ever behold death into the eon[*].
* In v. 51 "not ever behold death into the eon" – Cf. verse 35 and v. 51: "eis ton aiona" = "into the eon" or "into the age", which means :forever" and not "never" in both verses, 35 and 51. "Not die forever" means die, but not forever. It does not mean "never die". It also does not mean that the body dies but the soul and spirit (emotions and thoughts) of the person continue to live.
See also John 11: 23-26
(eis ton aiona = forever, NOT never)
23 Jesus said to her, Your brother will live again.
24 Martha said to him, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day.
25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one believing in me will live even if he dies[*].
26 And everyone living and believing in me shall not die forever[**]. Do you believe this?
* In v. 25 "will live even if he dies" means – see vs. 23 and 24 – "live again" – after resurrection from death, not to continue to live while dead. Resurrection is from death back to life, not from life after death back to life.
** v. 26 "shall not die forever. Do you believe this"?
Jesus said NOT die forever
Jesus said die but NOT forever
Jesus did NOT say not die ever, meaning never die
Do you believe this too?
The common sense that is implicit in the old and new testament words about conception (genesis and gestation) birth, life, death, and resurrection from death is that "life after death" does NOT mean that life continues after death. Life "after" death means resurrection back "to" life "from" death, not resurrection back to life "from" life that "continues while" dead.
In other words, "life after death" DOES mean "life after resurrection from death" (by resurrection – because of resurrection). Resurrection back to life is from death alone, not from life that continues while dead.
52 Then the Jews said to him, Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets, and you say, If anyone keeps my word, he will not ever[*] taste of death to the age.
* In v. 52 Jesus said "not ever taste of death to the age" (forever = to the eon = eis ton aiona): in other words, "die but not forever", but it seems that the Jews thought that Jesus meant forever "never" die.
8:53 Are you greater than our father Abraham who died? And the prophets died. Whom do you make yourself?
8:54 Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing, it is my father glorifying me, whom you say is your God.
8:55 And you have not known him, but I know him. And if I say that I do not know him, I shall be like you, a liar. But I know him, and I keep his word.
8:56 Your father Abraham leaped for joy that he should see my day, and he saw, and rejoiced.
8:57 Then the Jews said to him, You do not yet have fifty years, and have you seen Abraham?
8:58 Jesus said to them, Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.
8:59 Then they took up stones that they might throw them on him. But Jesus was hidden, and went forth out of the temple[*], going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
* In v. 59 "temple" see notes for v. 42 and 47.

13 But now in Christ Jesus you the ones then being afar off came to be near by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, making us both one, and having broken down the middle wall of partition[*]
* In v. 14 "...broken down the middle wall of partition" refers to removing the heavy veil that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place, "removing the heavy veil" refers to the "union" of earth and heaven – "union" of created and creator – "union" of egg/ovum and seed/sperm.
